REHAB YOGA

Rehab yoga is perfect for people who want to try yoga for the first time or for those who are looking for a movement session that complements their current physiotherapy regime.

In these sessions you will find a combination of  gentle yoga poses with breathing exercises, restorative postures, and dynamic movement to stretch and strengthen the body, reduce stress, calm the mind and work through any body imbalances.

I can sleep better and walk better and breathe better.  In a few short weeks you have made my life profoundly more bearable.

ABOUT YOUR SESSIONS

Rehab yoga sessions are facilitated on a one-on-one basis unless there is a specific request for a group class. 

Working on a private basis allows for a deeper understanding of our clients which will then allow for a personalized plan to be developed.

Your session may include some of the following tools:

  • Conscious and mindful breath

  • Appropriate sequences & individualized physical movement

  • Meditative practices

  • Visualization

  • Use of sound and mantra

  • Assisted stretching

  • Guided relaxation & yoga Nidra
